What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?
I had big dreams. It didn’t take me long to realize that they weren’t possible while I worked for someone else. Any time I talked to someone who lived the life I wanted to live, they owned a business. They worked for themselves. It seemed like the only way to get what I wanted. And, I’ve always done things differently than others. Getting to forge my own path felt natural to me.
What drives you to keep working hard each day?
I know who I’m serving: the dancer who’s dreaming of making it big. I know what it’s like to lay in bed and dream about the day you get your big break and can do what you love in front of thousands of people. When I wake up, I know I have the chance to help make their dream a reality.
What’s your definition of success?
Getting to do what you love with people you enjoy working with, while creating the life of your dreams. It’s the whole reason I became an entrepreneur to begin with — I wanted to take my life into my own hands.
