As an outsider, the life of an entrepreneur sometimes can seem glamorous and exciting. The truth of the matter is, it’s a challenging day to day grind that you always need to persevere through. Framar founder Maria Gallo, who started the company from her home, recently shared what goes on behind the scenes.
For Maria, it is her commitment and work ethic that have made her a successful entrepreneur. She shared what her daily routine looks like in the office. Maria stated, “I’m involved in many of the day-to-day operations of this company. Whether it be finance, human resources, operations, or picking up the phone to talk to a customer, because I sometimes want the interaction. I try to make sure that I am well versed in every aspect of our business.”
According to Maria, it is important that you understand a little bit of everything as an entrepreneur. While it’s impossible to do it all on your own, it’s important to know what the work entails.
That is the reason why Maria has invested a lot of time and energy into understanding every process within the business. “I have been lucky enough to be supported by a great partner and equally amazing team. However, at the same time, I also decided to learn about every process so that I can be in the right position for everyone on the team. It is not about stepping up in everyone’s role, but understanding what it takes to support them.”
