Fans of Real Housewives of Orange County are well aware of the fact that Vicki Gunvalson and Kelly Dodd have not been in good terms in the last two seasons. Having said that, you will be surprised to know that, their latest interaction with each other was really friendly. Now the question arises that have the two stars buried the hatchet?
According to resources, following a whole season of accusations and name calling, the two arch enemies hugged arch other after a day full of aggressive arguments. It actually surprised the entire cast. Everyone was shocked and thought that two of them might has spent last 8 hours taping throats of each other. The source shared that, “There was a lot of screaming and finger-pointing involved by both, however, everyone was surprised as they hugged at the end of the night. Everyone in the entire cast was shocked to see this happen. The ‘RHOC’ reunion taping was filled with so much drama and Vicki Gunvalson and Kelly Dodd were at the center of most it.”
It was also revealed that Kelly actually initiated the hug. It can be because of her happy place in her real life with her fiancé Rick Leventhal. The resource further shared that, “Kelly initiated the hug to Vicki because she’s honestly never been happier in her entire life and has just had it with all the screaming and the fighting and felt like it was time to try to end everything. It’s clear at the core both of these women are hurt, and Kelly did this because she wanted to extend the olive branch if you will and Vicki did accept.”
Though both the stars hugged each other for the cameras, both of them still hate each other for sure. It was evidenced via all the things that they talked about each other at BravoCon. Though their relationship is still in a very bad place yet they have opened the doors for them to be cordial for the next season of the show. It was concluded that, “Kelly feels she really tried to move things forward but neither really wants anything to do with the other still. They’re by no means in a good place at all, but it was a step in at least being cordial again with one another, though it seems short lived.”
Kelly also shared that she wants to make up with Tamra Judge too. She said that she knows very well that Shannon Beador will be the hardest to mend fences with. She shared, “I miss Tamra, I miss talking to her. I just don’t trust her. She’s the one that can pivot more than Shannon. I think Tamra is a little bit more forgiving and forgoing than Shannon.”
