Meijer stores declare free home delivery to assist with pandemic

Meijer is without offering home deliveries on orders more than $35, the retailer declared Monday. Beginning this week, the free home delivery service will be accessible through Jan. 29.

Meijer authorities declared every one of its stores across the Midwest will offer free home delivery on orders more than $35 for almost two weeks.

Organization authorities said Monday, Jan. 17, the program starts this week and goes through Jan. 29. Clients can shop online or by using the Meijer app and schedule a delivery time.

Meijer said it’s essential for a work to give customers more options during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The service is being presented for free to assist clients with enduring the challenges introduced by the COVID-19 pandemic, said Christina Fecher, Meijer’s corporate communications senior manager.

Clients can order food, beauty products and even brew or wine. Individual customers select the items as indicated by customer preferences and clients now an accept or reject order replacements in real time, authorities said.

Meijer is settled in Walker and works in excess of 250 stores across six states, the majority in Michigan.

Clients who shop online or through the Meijer application can plan a delivery or get time that is advantageous for them.

The free service is being presented at all Meijer locations.
