RJD Leader Md Mahtab Alam Is Redefining Leadership Through Social Work

Md Mahtab Alam, a member of the Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) is one of the emerging leaders in Bihar. He has outshined many political figures via his work as a politician and social worker. It is rare to see a rising politician focusing more on philanthropy work and dedicating his time to solve the problems of common people on a ground level.
In 2020, Md Mahtab Alam arranged for the food and transportation of thousands of migrants who were stuck in Hyderabad and Gujarat. He brought them to their home state Bihar and did the noble work of reuniting them with their loved ones in the times of crisis.
The country is currently witnessing the second wave of Covid-19 and people are being deprived of basic medical facilities. There is huge shortage of oxygen, hospital beds and medicines throughout the nation. In such horrifying times, Md Mahtab Alam has become a strong voice of the common man. He is constantly fighting for the rights of citizens to get proper treatment. He even questions the Central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on failure of handling the Covid crisis. He also criticized Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his laid back approach in the fight against Covid-19.
Native of Siwan, the 32-year-old politician currently resides in Patna. Through his social work and political actions, he is redefining the leadership goals in Bihar.
