Comparing IPhone 15 Pro And 15 Pro Max Specs To Galaxy S23 Ultra, Pixel 7 Pro, And OnePlus 11

The newest iPhones from Apple are now available. As part of its September Wonderlust event, the tech giant unveiled a plethora of new goods on Tuesday, including the Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2.

The 6.1-inch iPhone 15 and 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Plus, as well as the pricey iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, are all part of Apple’s iPhone 15 collection. The Dynamic Island, a new USB-C connector, satellite connectivity for Emergency SOS, and support for the Qi2 wireless charging standard are now features found on all four iPhone 15 versions. This year’s iPhone 15 and bigger iPhone 15 Plus models receive a design update and are now available in five new hues: pink, yellow, green, blue, and black. The primary camera also receives a new 48-megapixel sensor with a 2x telephoto zoom and 12 megapixel resolution.

However, as in most years, Apple’s top iPhone Pro and Pro Max series sees the biggest modifications. The new A17 Pro CPU, Apple’s first microprocessor made in a 3-nanometer process, is available in the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. The CPU’s GPU, according to Apple, is up to 20% quicker than the A16 chip from last year and is strong enough to support ray tracing in games and other apps. With versions of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Resident Evil 8, and other games revealed for the iPhone, this should give the phone adequate capacity to handle games that are also coming to current-gen consoles.

Additionally, Apple has a new titanium design for the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max that it claims is stronger and lighter than previous iPhone models. Along with higher USB-3 charging speeds of up to 10Gbps, the Pro and Pro Max iPhones also have a configurable Action button on the side of the smartphone.

The ability to zoom in on a topic has been given a special update on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The 48-megapixel main camera on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max both have a 5x optical zoom, but only the larger Pro Max model does so thanks to a “tetraprism” architecture that bends light many times. The iPhone 15 Pro’s camera still has a 3x optical zoom capability, much like the Pro models from the previous year.

Despite how great the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max may seem, they actually offer very similar — or perhaps better — specifications than competing smartphones from Samsung, Google, and OnePlus. As an illustration, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has four cameras, including a massive 200-megapixel wide camera. Of course, megapixel count isn’t everything in digital photography, so it will be interesting to see how the camera on the iPhone 15 Pro Max compares to the camera on the S23 Ultra.

In spite of this, individuals wishing to upgrade to a flagship phone can consider the S23 Ultra, Google Pixel 7 Pro, or OnePlus 11. In the table below, we compare the three Android phones by their specifications and show how the two Pro versions of the iPhone 15 compare.
