A friend in need is a friend indeed”, it’s an old saying and proves to be true even in these new times.
These testing times of the COVID-19 pandemic have shown unprecedented troubles on a large scale, the epicenter of it was in China but the tremors are being felt all over the world and many have had their lives shaken upside down.
From losing jobs to losing lives, the effect of the pandemic is visible everywhere. Everyone is having their fair share of hardships but the ones who were vulnerable even before the pandemic require more help and assistance than ever before.
It’s in these hours of need that we need someone to step up and lend a helping hand, Faiz Qureshi, bollywood producer international fashion show organiser owner of Reddwings Production, is one of those helping hands.
Before the pandemic hit, Faiz Qureshi was busy turning the spotlight towards acting and modeling newcomers in an industry rife with nepotism. When he saw the rise of COVID-19 and its subsequent toll, he decided to extend help towards the ones affected most by the effects of the pandemic.
Faiz Qureshi set out to create and spread awareness about the best practices to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and his efforts have now been recognised by AIIPPHS.
AIIPPHS – All India Institute of Public and Physical Health Sciences – is an autonomous institute recognised by Ministry of Health, HRD and many more. AIIPPHS took notice of Faiz Qureshi’s work and has awarded him with a Certificate of Dedication. Dr. KD Arya, the Founding Director and Dr. Anju Bhandari, the Director General, has appreciated Qureshi’s work and dedication towards the cause. We too want to extend our appreciation towards Faiz Qureshi’s service to the society during these times.
